I’m a postdoc in the physics department at UC Berkeley, where I work on Hamiltonian Monte Carlo methods for sampling with applications in quantum physics and statistics. Before that I worked on Bayesian models of communication, using probabilistic programming to try to understand how people reason about each other.
I’m currently interested in putting these strands (physics and cognitive science) together, and building dynamical systems models of multi-agent coordination. Here’s a description of the sort of approach I’m interested in.
