I’m a postdoc in the physics department at UC Berkeley, where I work on using ideas from physics to develop sampling algorithms, and on using tools from statistics to study physics. Before that I worked on Bayesian models of communication to try to understand how people exchange information.
I’m currently interested in putting these strands (physics and cognitive science) together, and building dynamical systems models of multi-agent coordination. Here’s a description of what I’ve been thinking about.
